W114 vs W123

Got a great offer for some 14" authentic alloy wheels from a w123, anyone know if they`ll fit right on my W114?

I am not absolutely sure, but I have seen "bundt cake" W123/W116/W126 wheels on W115s, so I would think they would work on W114s as well.

Thats the wheel I`m talking about, and W114 - W115 have the same wheels.
Wil go for it, and hope.

I have a 115 with bundts. Looks good too. Remember, if you now have steel wheels on the 114, and install bundts, you'll need to use the longer lug bolts made for the thicker alloy bundts. The steel wheels are thinner than the bundts and use a shorter lug.

Thanks for reminding me. You know the measurement for the bolts?

Not off the top of my head.

But, I have cars with both types of wheels and I'd be happy to measure each of them for you. Can't do it until this evening.

Yay! I just found the data in my 123 chassis manual.

Steel rims = 21mm
Forged alloy (bundt) rims = 29.5mm

The drawing in the manual is ambiguous but it looks like they measure from the threaded end of the lug to the start of the taper. Also, the longer lug (alloy) is drawn with an unthreaded section between the threads and the taper. The steel wheel lug appears to be fully threaded.

Let me know if there's anything else you need me to look up.
