Direction(al) Pull?

Is this considered defect on my front tires? After the alignment (2 times) the car still pull a little bit to the right. The alignment shop told me it is the front tires called directional pull and advise me bring the tires back to the store I bought them from and get a replacement. The tires are Falkon 512?? with 3000 miles only and the car is my 94 E420 but I did changed the size to 205/60-15 instead of stock 196/65-15. Any idea about what is really going on?

Having done many alignments, I can tell you that some cars do not align to the published figures. Sometimes the car requires someone who can drive the car, and give it what it needs, not simply adjust to the published figures. That being said, I would try a set of stock sized tires first, before deviating from the current alignment, if we can assume that alignment is correct. Sometimes, wide, low profile tires exacerbate the anomolies with the front suspension. The last item I would suspect, would be the tires being defective.

rotate the tires and see if the pull changes ... that's the only way to tell if it's the tire or something else ..... tire pressure can also cause a pull
