Exclamation Original wheels on a 1983 300SD Turbo Diesel 126 body

Hello to all.
Does anyone know the best way to remove all the brake dust on these original wheels?
Is there a good product out there ?
Regards Dan

soap and some good scrubbing then you could get these from the fastlane shop.

Is the bomb...

Spray it on, rinse off. Minimal scrubbing needed.

be careful on painted surfaces...this stuff is ruthless

Griots

I have switched to the griots garage products. Far superior and will not damage clear coated wheels.

If they are dead - clear coat and paint gone, the easiest thing to do is have them bead blasted then primed, painted and clear coated. Did all four of mine for $200.

Just use a good car wash that does not strip wax and a soft mit. Will clean them like new and wont hurt the finish.

BTW on my brand spankin new 16's, (painted w/ clearcoat) I use the car-mit with just car soap.

For wheels that have had a "hard life", use the stuff I mentioned before if you are not worried about paint
