8in wide wheels on a W123- does it work?
I have found a set of 8-hole replicas that I am considering for my W123- they are in a size of 16" / 8" with an offset of 24.
Will they fit? 8inches seems pretty wide? Im sure id like the look- beefy. But if they fit it would be even better!

not up front they wont. 225/50-16 tires catch the fender lip pretty well on 7 inch rims, wider rims would allow that on even narrower tires. Besides they will not look good as they will either be hanging out beyond the fender and/or contacting the tire rod ends.

x8"s
tried a set of 17x8"s et 35.. rubbed the tie rod on the inside and might have given some trouble with the fender as well.
the 17x7.5"s have been perfect.. |
