Are Kumho's good tires? (W123 85)
I need a medium price tire for my BENZ.
The next set will be classics, but I'm still using her as a daily driver at high miles with an occasional mega trip and there's no reason to put OEM Mercedes tires on her until I get her fully restored. I'm not cheap, I've sunk some bucks into the car this year. New interior, soon new paint, new AC, new dash.......... |

I have Kumho tires on my '84 300SD that came brand new with the car when I bought it. I was pleased. They are a bit loud and the sidewalls feel somewhat soft, but they are a good cruiser tire and absorb road bumps nicely.

Meow-I've got about 9K on the Power Star 758s on my '82-not even rotated yet, still look new, even decent in the snow, best $45 tire ever!!!

They make a good tire for the money. A lot of people really like them.

No kumhos for me
I had some 10 years ago that were absolutely the worst set of tires I ever owned. The only time I ever had to make an insurance claim in my 18 years of driving, was with these tires on about 1 inch of snow going no more than 15 in town. The tires lost grip and smucked the curb, causing a bent rim and $1000 in front end damage to my '91 GTI.
