quiet Tires for '01 e320 w/ 18" amg wheels

My e320 sport has 18" amg monoblock rims, and continential sportcontact 2 tires. The tires have 20K miles, and need to be replaced. The car seems loud to me (road noise when I drive at freeway speed ), but I have nothing to compare to. Can anyone suggest a replacement tire? I am looking for a VERY QUIET comfortable ride, and if possible, longer life than 20K (but I can make due if I don't have a choice).

I am currently looking at the Dunlop Sport Maxx tires on Tirerack.com. The comments are good, and they rate as really quite compared to the Contis I currently own. Does anyone have expierence with the sport maxx? Has anyone switched from the conti sportcontact 2 to a quieter tire?

I do not drive really fast (top speed of 100), it rains hard in Oregon, and I don't drive fast around corners (well, not very often)

Thanks. Nate.

BTW, tire size is 235/40 r18 and 265/35 r18
