We have had a record dry winter here in western Oregon(usally over 150 inchs of rain per year) ,so today was first time I really got to try out new set of Michelin 205 70 r 14 Rainforce tires on my 81 sd As drove several hundred miles in heavy rain with lots of standing water on road. These tires are truly outstanding ,didn't feel a bit of hydroplaneing ,the car felt as stable as it would on dry pavement, very impressed.

That was exactly what I felt driving in a set of Michellins. I have used Dunlop and Bridgestone prior to the change, and I can tell you that Michellin handles both conditions better than the two mentioned.
In terms of ranking of tyres used so far, the top spot goes to Michellin, with Dunlop coming in last. Safe driving.
