On my 83 500SE Euro the car sometimes pulls a lot to the right and then sometimes a lot to the left with no rhyme or reason. I've had front end checked completely by two shops and all is up to spec with new alignment, but still pulling a lot and keeps changing from left to right. They suggest defective tire, even though all four are 6 mos. old Michelins. Anyone else run into this problem? Any way to check tires to see if that is the case? Laroo

Your car is very sensitive to out of balance and/or out of round tires and wheels. If they are not perfect it will drift left and right.

Also some Michelins are horrible with drifting. Good luck.

Hey Laroo, How many miles are on your 500SE?...it is recommended over a 100K to change the rear subframe mounts. As mounts collapse over time they lose their ability to maintain the rear tracking ability and tire wear regardless of pressure will occur. While you are at it do the differential mount too. Good Luck, Scott.
