Wheel opinions and Photoshop help...

Considering these wheels (hard to beat the price), I like them, but am unsure of how they would look on my "classic" Benz....they are not exactly "period correct". Any opinions would be appreciated. Can anyone photoshop them onto my car for me?

Thanks
Brian

No real opinion on the wheels, but I did happen to have Photoshop open, so I did a quick and dirty image for you...

Winmutt,

Find me an AMG for $89, and I am ON it.

I suck at getting the perspective right with wheels, but here's a quick and dirty idea for you. I've added some brake discs as they will definately show through on those rims:

pffft: and not only can I not get the bloody image to display, but I was beaten to it!

I remembered to lift them into the wheel arch this time, as they're bigger than the stock wheels

Ride Quality

This is probably not what you want to hear, but I recently went from 14" bundts to 15" 8 spokes, and I wish I had my bundts back. Appearance-wise, the 8-spokes are superior, but the ride quality has noticably changed. It's not uncomfortable, but you can tell the difference.

Just my $.02

When I change from my 14" summer rims to my 15" winter rims, I notice a difference, but for the better. I think after this season (as the tread is pretty low anyway) I'll move the summer wheels up to 15"s as well. Of course, it means losing the original Merc hubcaps...

Fitment issues?

They are 8 1/2" X 17" with an offset of 34mm.
