What rims fit?

I have an 87 300D and I am thinking of putting either AMG wheels or look alikes on it, and I was wondering which ones will fit. Or what should i look for when buying wheels so that they fit?

Also, is there anyway to increase acceleration and power, especially up steep inclines.
Thanks

I tried these

Hi,
I tried a 17x8 et35 from a 2001 E420 (if I remember correctly). They worked well. BUT, you will feel a difference in ride quality. 225/45 tires take 20% of your rubber away! (from 5" down to 4")

I'm used to it now, but I spent the entire 1st month debating on whether to put the 15s back on. It's strange tho-- my girl-- who rides in it frequently and sometime drove it-- couldn't feel any difference.

Some people complain about rubbing, but I have to do something extreme (sudden extended downhill braking... etc.) to make them rub in the front.

The handling is outrageous! You'll feel like you're fastened to the road. The horizonal roll that you get on the stock wheels is gone and soon forgotten.

And it makes the car look more modern-- if you care about such things.
I do

Those look cool...I'm looking to put the stock rims from the 95 E300 on my 2.5T. They use the same tires and look a lot newer. That plus euro headlights and clear corners and I'll be set
