Wrong Aspect Ratio

Usually its 245/40/18 up front, and 275/35/18s. I know you can go 285/35/18s, because its been done, but I would check with Luke to see if it might require a fender roll, I am thinking you don't because it has the factory fenders flared, but never hurts to double check. I would go wider then 245s up front, even if you could, because you must remember its your front tires responsibility to sweep water out of the way for you rear tires, with going wider then 245s, risk of hydroplaning your fronts increase drastically. Even Porsche uses 225s most of the time up front even if tehy push 3_5 in the rear. Then again they are rear enginge.

Most people usually use 18x8-18x9 (for 245), and 18x9-18x10s (for 275). I know however, that 285 in the rear require at least 18x9.5s.

If you want to save on costs, and still give your car an aggressive image, I love it when I see wheel Sizes staggered. Having 17x8.5 up front with 245/45/17 and 18x9.5 in the rear with 285/35/18 will also make you care look more like intimidating giving it a look of having a taller rear like dragsters without actually doing so. Also having the 17s up front gives extra cushion if needed for them damn potholes. I have 16x7.5 with 215/50/16, and they even recieved a blow from a pot hole in Delaware!! to bend one. Where are they potholes in Delaware, that compare to those in the cities, so if you live by a city area, something to consider.

Hope things work out, post pictures after you are done.

The 285 in the rear will require a fender lip roll in order to gain enough clearance for this to work and I don't know of a tire made in the 265/45-18 size. The diameters would be correct but, finding hte tire might turn out to be harder than your thought.
