18 x8.5 and 9 AMG Monos on 124 wagon?

Would AMG monoblocks 18 x 8.5s fit on the front of an unlowered 300TE?
Would 18 x 9s go on the rear?
Have a fender roller available if needed.
If it would work.... what would the tire sizes be?

According to the Tirerack, The 18x8.5's would have 225/40-18's. It doesn't list 18x9's for the 300TE so 8.5 may be the widest, I'm not sure, maybe with the right offset and the rolled fenders it's doable, but I'm certainly no expert. They list have 18x9's for the E500, (wider fenders) and they recommend 245/4018's for those. I don't know if these are optimal sizes performance wise. It's just what they have listed.

Thanks,
I will have to think about it then.
I know several people who have gone the 8 x18 route.... but 9s on the rear I have not heard about.
