W123 Whitewalls

Can anybody recommend a good 14" tire for my W123? I would like something with a thin white wall to complement the wheel covers. Snow/ice performance is not an issue as I run studs in the winter. Rain performance is important because I live in the North West.

Thanks.

You can get the Kumho Touring A/S 795 in a 205/70/14 or a 195/75/14, I "THINK" that will give you about the same circumference as the stock 185/14 (185/80/14). They have a narrow white wall. Check the tire rack, they rank well and are cheap.

They also have the Yokohama Aegis LS4 in a 185/75/14 if that really is closer.

Just get some whitewalls and go at it with a DA on the sidewalls till all that is left is a big band of white ( the black covers a 6" strip of whitewall.. the black is not that thick so not to worry)

Just ordered a set of Dunlop A2s. Don't think they have a white wall though. I found this in a hot rodder magazine last night. Better than an angle grinder, and it's from a MB site too!

I have 195/75/14 whitewalled Dunlop tires on my car, it gives the car a very comfortable ride.

michelin symetry is available in 195/75r14 with whitewall. Its slightly oversize so it will make your speedo read a little slower than you're going and the odo will read slightly less than you have gone but its within a couple of percent, IIRC.

I have two of them on my 240/300d.

They're a nice all around tire for handling and ride and wet weather traction. And they'll last a long time.
