I have an 82 300SD with the standard 14" wheels (ugly), and I'm considering buying 15" 8-hole wheels from Tirerack.com. I just put a set of new tires on my current wheels about 2K miles ago and I was wondering if I could use these same tires on the 15" inch rims until they run out. I would hate to waste a set of perfectly good tires.
Thanks |

Ehhh correct me if i'm wrong...but you want to put 14" tires on 15" rims??!!!!!!! I can safely say I speak for everyone here when I say DON'T DO IT!!!!!
This is the equivalent of giving Shaq a pair of size 12's for his size 21 feet. Sell the tires or stay with 14's or drive alone on a deserted highway...that way you can kill yourself without taking someone else with you. |

A tire which is mounted on a 14" can not be mounted on a 15" wheel. It's like the old square peg round hole problem it just won't work
