Lightbulb Tire Size Calculator

Check out the new Tire Size Calculator in the DIY Articles section of PeachParts.

It's a little javascript utility I wrote that calculates tire diameter.

This is useful if you are thinking about going to a Plus-1 or Plus-2 size on your car and want to avoid problems with ABS and traction control. It's a known fact that Mercedes electronics will often have trouble if a tire diameter is used that is more or less than 3% of stock.

This service calculates various aspects of a tire given its size specification. Any number of tire sizes may be specified in the list. This calculator is useful for determining the difference in speedometer and odometer reading or gearing.
