1987 420SEL Tires from Lexus SC430?

I have a 2002 Lexus SC430 with 18" Falcon Azenis 245/40/ZR18 tires with OEM wheels on it. I would like to move these to my 1987 Mercedes 420SEL. Can I do this, & should I? What is my max, or recomended tire size for both of these vehicles? Thank you!

What would make you think that a Lexus wheel would fit a MB?

Educated guess - not a chance.

Poor wording

I am not concerned with moving the wheels. I want to know if I can put 18" tires on the Mercedes without having to make any modifications. If so, is it OK, or am I asking for problems? Thanks!

There are numerous threads about plus sizing. You could also call Tire Rack and ask.

I would think that those extremely low profile tires in Z rating, even if they didn't rub, would give you absolutely terrible ride quality. The suspension was designed and tuned to, 15 x 6.5 or 7.0 wheels. From what I have read W126 owners complain about the ride quality even in stock form. Imagine the ride with your low profile tires.
