Well i saw a great deal on a set of AMG Aero 15" rimbs. So I bought them. I think they are fake? how do i know. They look like Aero's they say AMG on them with the block lettering. But they dont have the /// slashes. just the AMG.
How will i know? there 15"s
Well anyway heres the Big problem

Previolsy i had a set of 15" Centra's on. My mother insited of taking it to Sears to mount the tires. She took my car without my knoledge and went to get them mounted. Well she came back with 2 amgs on and 2 centras on. It seems that the bolts are too long on the back, causing it to hit the brakes. This is understandable, but what i want to know is what size nutz to i need? How do i measure? I know it has to be shorter bout how much?
The guys @ kragen were no help either, they could only sell me the parts? Does anyone know a method of finding out?
Cuz my car realy looks funy.
Btw the new rims gave me an extra inch or so of height. looks realy good. Esp with my 205/65 tires on it..
If anyone wants to spruce up their SD get bigger tires.. it makes it rider higher and looks alot newer..
Pleas help.
Jivesh.
P.S. the installer also said that the 4th wheel had a problem with alingign the bolts correctly. he said that they are a lil off.. He told my mom to take it to a rim shop and have them fix it? Is this possible? it looks ok? does anyone know of such a shop in Southern California? (Orange County)
Thanks!
