8 hole on an 84 300SD
I am looking at upgrading the Bundts on my new 84 300SD to the 8 hole pattern. Which one below will fit and not have any clearance issues?
- 15x7 w/ a 23mm offset - 5-112 lug pattern - 16x7.5 w/ a 23mm offset - 5-112 lug pattern I saw a car I liked with these wheels (don't know if they were 15 or 16) but that doesn't mean it worked well. Any input is appreciated. .....Dan Last edited by suburbanviking; 04-21-2007 at 08:44 AM. |

They will both fit a W126 like your 300SD. Just make sure you have tires of a similar rolling diameter as originals.

I'd reccomend going a bit oversize on the tire diameter, especially if you like to drive fast on the highway. If you are strictly a stoplight to stoplight driver then ignore what I just wrote.

It's a very handsome upgrade,in either brushed or chrome, and many W126 owners took advantage of it.
