What size wheels would fit on my 1993 320ce at the moment i have 16" split rims but have been offered 18" OZ split rims would these rub or create any problems on the wheel bearings. What size wheels and tyres are recommended. P.S the car has been lowered 45mm. THANKS BOBBY

If you can keep the rolling radius the same, going to a plus X sized fittment should be okay. It may handle worse as the suspension is not designed to take advantage of the shorter sidewall... I would call Tirerack and ask them for a good second opinion on 18" rims on a non-500 W124.
