says 15x6.5 of course and then ET46. Is ET46 the offset? What is this rim from. Friend had it as a spare on her 86 300E and it would not fit so she bought a new used one. I was wondering what it is for so I can at least give it to the right person for theirs.

Yes, ET46 is the offset number. The 86' 300E came with ET49 offset so the ET46 wheel must be an aftermarket item. No other Mercedes from that period had ET46. It is hard to believe that the ET46 wouldn't fit your friend's car since the 300E could use anything from ET35 to ET49 at 6.5" width.

Woman? Was on the rear and hit something with the brakes? Who the hell knows. PS the rim says "OZ" on it. Did OZ make thes or is this a replica? Anybody need a spare?
