2001 S-500,

I can't get the tire pressure monitor to display. I turn the key in the stater switch to position 1 or 2. I press the button on the steering wheel to display TRIP and MAIN ODOMETER. I press the arrow buttons, but the tire inflation pressure monitor is never displayed. Everyhing else that is suppose to display (Oil, etc) is displayed.

Its possible the instrument cluster coding is not showing tire pressure system as present. Was the cluster recently changed? Tim

I just purchased it a month ago. I'm not sure if its been changed.

Silly question, but are you certain the car is equipped with TPC?

I'm just going on what my manual says for a 2001 S500

it requires the sensors that are strapped to the wheels if I'm not mistaken, make sure they are there.....which require demounting the tire.

Look at the valve stems and see if they are attached to rim with a nut,and silver in color if so thats the tire pressure monitor style. Tim
