MB wheel fit
I have a 1984 MB 300 SD. Will newer factory wheels fit this car?
I saw # 1264003002 ( 7J width ), would they fit? Any websites that show a cross referance? Thanks |

If you have the factory bundts, they should be ET30 offset (30mm). Find MB wheels with a 30mm offset and they should work. I replaced my bundts on my 83 with newer MB OEM wheels, but the new wheels have ET46 offset, so I had to add 15mm spacers and longer lug bolts. The bolt pattern for all Mercedes vehicles is 5x112mm.

new wheels look knock kneed
Anything newer than the W126 flatface or the bundts are going to need help fitting on your car.
W123 and W126 cars have a 25-30mm offset, while anything newer has a 40 plus mm offset. Also beware of W140 wheels. eBay is full of them, but they are a unique fit (bolt circle or bolt dia, forget which), will not bolt on the older cars. Late C and E wheels will work if you use spacers, otherwise they will have a narrower track and look rather odd. Don't like spacers myself, though. Tire rack will sell you a knock off a later wheel in an offset for the early cars, but some of the aftermarket wheels I've found have some real runout problems. Jim
