I found a cheap set of wheels off a 99 CLK for the 300D. Wheel style is okay but the score is a set of like new tires for cheap.

The 300D lugs have a 39mm shank with 18mm of thread protruding from the mounting surface. When I measure those lugs in the CLK wheels, there is 26mm of shank protruding. Seems to me that I need lugs with 31mm shank. The only lugs I can find are conical rather than cup and bowl.

Does anyone know what lugs will work?

I don't want to invest in a set of CLK lugs to discover that they go too deep into the hubs.

Im using the same lugs that ive posted. For the euros go to importvision.com, dont know anyone who would want the wheels. Know anyone who wants W220 wheels? I never put them on my S420...i miss that car
