I have just won a set of four tires from Continental. I went to the Mercedes Benz PowerTrip 2001 on Saturday, June 23, 2001 in Boston. I was one of the lucky winners. Does anyone have any experience with the ContiSportContact?

Congrats on your win.

I usually enjoy anything that I win.

I was at a golf tournament a while back, and won a very nice Slazenger putter. Now its the one I use exclusively.

If they are free use them. However, I would never buy them. They are helpless in the rain and don't even attempt to use them on any cold day. Good for nice summer sunny days other then that YUK!

I've only had good experiences with this tyre, hot or cold, rain or shine.

The tyre was original equipment on our C200, SLK230, and Porsche 996.

They came factory on my C43. I changed to Michelin pilot sports....what a difference. The car is a completely different car in the rain. I can only speak from my own experience, I think Noah had similar opinions on this subject. If they were free I'd take them, but I would never buy them. If you look at the Continental web site they only recommend the Conti sport for dry summer conditions, in which I agree they were fine.
