Flat Spot Prevention - Winter Lift?
I am wondering what other members do for their cars that sit through the winter to prevent getting flat spots on the tires? I just put new Bridgstone Potenza RE750's on and feel the flat spot for a few miles after it sets for a week and it goes away after the tires warm up. However, setting all winter I wouldnt want the tires to memorize the flat spot. Any suggestions?

Fabricate something like this for all 4 wheels
(found it on thesamba.com Rich's50 pics.) make it hub centric and line up with the bolt holes and you care good to go Last edited by TheDon; 10-13-2007 at 08:15 PM. |

I pump my tires up to 50 lbs just before I put my car away. Makes for a bouncy ride from the gas station to the garage though

I have a junk set of wheels I bolt on, got them for free. The good wheel's get stacked up in the basement.
