I will message them, they seem pretty non-mechanical so I doubt I will get the pertinent info

i will try to be there if I can get my front end back together. I spent 1.5 hrs on a single tie rod end. man was that baby stuck.......

they look to require a fairly thick spacer for a 123.

I bought the whole front kit, the trouble m having is getting the old one off. I had to remove the idler arm and hammer the tie rod end out in a vice. this was after beating on a pickle fork manually for 30 mins, then hitting it with an air chisel pickle fork for another 15. I needed to replace the idler bushing assembly anyway, but it shouldnt be sooooo difficult

looks like they are et-36 and I need et-23 with 16's.... but I am getting these wheels with almost new tires for $200, I can get 12mm spacers for $85 a pair and I think I only need the front. seems reasonable for the much nicer look. hopefully it will work in the rear with no spacer but I have been wrong before........

the wheels are ET-37. according to my research thats about dead center where I need to be. tires are 205's and clear fine. the rim just barely clears the tie rod end. i had to move the weights from the inside lip to the outside. I will get stick ons later. I really like the look. now I think it needs to be lowered about 1.5 inch in the front and an inch in the back. anyone have experience with cutting coils down? is there a shorter stock spring offered somewhere on another model?

Get the coupe springs. They are a bit lower me thinks and the rears are progressive rate. You may want to try diff shims. Also you will def want to put atleast a 3mm spacer if they are that close. My new tie rods are 3mm wider than my old ones and rub in the corners.

i have about a 1/4 inch clearance to the tie rod, I am going to try it. I took it out and took some corners and it all seems to work ok. I am pretty low cash conscious on this car, is cutting out a few coils out of the question? maybe gasser springs might be cheaper than diesel coupe springs

I've got a pair of 5mm spacers that I might be convinced to cough up...I'm probably going to remount my 18's for the GTG, but will likely put on the 4 8.5's and leave the 9.5's at home. That way I won't need to run spacers...but I bet the 280CE will look HOT with 9.5's in the rear...

My next 300CD will be lowered, and may not be able to clear the 18's so they're on their way out I'm afraid.
