Will 80's 190d wheels fit a 124 300d?
I found a good price on some stock 190d wheels. I need a spare (or 4) for my 300d and was wondering if they'd work?
thanks, Nick

early 84s came with 14 inch wheels, so no, those wouldnt clear the 124's brakes. The 15s will but they are a half inch less wide than 300e wheels

The 15" 190/W201 wheels changed also in '87, the rear was carved out more for the bigger brakes.
The 124 wheels have a different offset, and also changed for brake clearance in '95 You can buy later 8-hole 124 wheels, but the offset is slightly different than your 15-hole (original) wheels and will cause a little bump-steer. Worth it for the look IMO, ... but there. Stock 124 wheels are pretty easy to find used.
