95 E300D rim

my darling daughter ruined one of the rims by driving over a curb. Its irreparable. I dont see the need for am OEM MB rim in the trunk. Anyone have a cheap suggestion for the spare? Many thanks!

If you look on craigslist the oem rims frequently go cheap.

Take the curbed wheel and put it in the trunk, use the spare.

Or you can just buy another 8 hole, they are dirt cheap.

using the spare.. hence the inquiry. Something non descript for the trunk would be fine.

Whats wrong with the curbed wheel? Did she crack it, or put a hole in it?

Get another 8 hole off ebay, you should be able to get one cheap.

bling

I agree, attach a necklace chain to the old rim and sell it as 'BLING', then buy a used one for cheap !

I don't think those modern reductionist spare tires will work on your car.

hatteras: severely dented AND badly cracked. Its worth something at the scrap yard obviously but coudnt possibly be repaired. I have looked on EBAY $80 shipped looks like to me. I just thought there might be something aftermarket out there for $30 to my door since it was going in the trunk

Ahh that was a bad hit!

No cheaper aftermarket, with MB's you are kind of limited. The stock wheels are always the least expensive.

check Tirerack, there might be some replicas that would work.

rahkling7 - Did you ever find a wheel? If you're on the west coast, I've got 5 of the original 8 hole wheels I took off my W124. You're more than welcome to one of the wheels.
