An inexpensive option for the 210's

I never liked the factory wheels on our '00 E320, so when I saw this set on ebay I jumped on them, they're off an '03 E320. I got them from ebay for $425, the tires were practically brand new Pirelli's and the wheels were in perfect condition. If you decide to do the same thing be sure the seller throws in the shorter lugs that you'll need to make these wheels work. Just thought I would post these pics for anyone else out there who's looking for a affordable way to upgrade their 210 wheels. Ebay seems to always have several sets for sale and the prices rarely top $500.

Those wheels look great. I might have to put this on my Christmas list.

They definitely make the car look better in my opinion. I just checked on ebay and there was a set available but the guy is asking way too much for them and they aren't even in top shape. Just keep checking because there were 3 sets available when I bought mine so I know there will be more in the future.

Mine came with practically brand new P6's of which I'm glad are almost worn out now. They are the noisiest tire I've ever owned in my life. Thank goodness I don't drive it everyday or else they would have been gone by now. I asked my wife if the noise bothers her and she said "what noise"?......I said never mind hon, I must be hearing things....

I'm trying to decide if I should replace them with the 03 factory size (of which is on it right now 225/55/16) or the factory '00 size of 215/55/16, or one in between 225/50/16. My wife can get tires relatively cheap due to where she works so I've been looking at the Bridgestone G009's in the 225/50/16 or the Michelin Energy's in the size of 225/55/16. I think I'm going to go with the Bridgestone's after all of the good reports I read on the Tire rack's site. I'll be sure to report back when I decide. Just don't EVER buy Pirelli P6's if you would like to be able to hear yourself think while driving down the road....
