I'll never ride on Michelins if I I can help it. Had them on my 86 Jetta in the 90's. Wore like iron but sucked in the rain after a few miles. 18,000 miles in 2 years and the sidewalls were cracking. Had Pilot HX MXM4's on my W8 Passat in 2003. Switched to Dunlop 9000's after 600 miles. The Benz had XSE's on it when I got it last April. Only about 1/2 worn in 3 years but rode horribly and cracking along the bead and in the tread grooves.
