Post pics of your W124 Wheels

I am looking to get some new wheels for my 1987 300D. The ones on it are the 15 holes and are looking rough. I also think that the styling looks dated and I want something that will complement my euro lights and make it look newer. I want something classy, too. No chrome or huge wheels...just something nice, classy and modern looking.

I love the look of the 8 hole wheels. I don't have a pic because I don't have a W124....

I love the 8 hole wheels too, but not on a 123. Nice re-finish on the rims, Brewer.

I've got the second generation (rectangular holes, not rounded corners) 15" 15-hole rims currently on my 124. I'm going to upgrade to 16" 8-hole rims in the future when I get the money and can find a good set for a good price, and when my tires need replacement. I've already put in euro lights and clear corners, plus I will be installing 94/95 style (clear turn signal) taillight lenses in the future. All I need now is the new style hood and I'll be set

What's the refinishing process like? Sandblast at all? What paint is used?

It does look really nice to me. I might give mine a try. I have been quoted 450$ for this job last spring... said no.

Good job.

Bye,

Here is the 300TE with the 15-hole with squarish holes (as opposed to the earlier rounded holes). Just keep the stock wheels nice and clean
