Will W208 CLK430 work on W202 C280?

Currently I have a set of 17" staggered 5 spoke AMG (Style 170) wheels on my C280 that came from a SLK. The drivers front will need to be torched because of a stuck lug bolt and I have come across wheels from a 2000 CLK430, they look the same but I want to confirm they will fit. I understand the W208 and W202 share many parts but I want to confirm before buying.

Will 17" staggered wheels from a 2000 W208 also fit a 1996 W208 C280?
