500SL Tire Size Change?

Phil Here, I'm about ready to replace my tires on my 92 500SL. Right now I am running 245-45 on 17"X8" AMG Rims [Front and Rear]. I would like to have a little more Sidewall Height On all 4 tires and little less tire width on the front. Can anybody suggest a good Tire combination for my SL. I don't want to loose Tire diameter.

Thanks in advance, Phil Justice

This work ?
225/50/17 front
235/50/17 rear.
Just watch the Load Range.
