My last set of tires were Big-O Legacy 205-70-14.
Just replaced them with another set of Big-O Legacy.
replaced the rears 4 months ago with 71726 miles.
replaced the fronts couple weeks ago, they had 74560 miles.

so got my money`s worth.

Charlie ☺

I have firestones on my benz, which is what the PO had on them, of course they have gotten old and last summer replaced the front tires when my ride got rough. Smooth as silk agian, but will replace the back this spring.

Im not sure what to put on a benz, i've had good luck with the firestones, but feel bad that a set of 4 of them cost a mear 260$ were the tires i just put on my infiniti cost over 600$ Maybe i should upgrade as well heheh

Michelin's are good tires but I am usualy disapoited with their long life passanger car tires, they are hard and have zero traction, but will last a long time.

I really like their PS2's the traction is nice but the price is nuts! Looked into a set for the SDL and scared me away, over $200 each.

For stock tires I would probably just get a set of Bridgestones.

I have a set of Sumitomo HTR 200 on the 300. Dry traction is outstanding. Snow traction is good for a high performance summer tire. What little driving I've done in the wet seemed satisfactory, but I didn't get to do much of that-this is a desert. I can't say much about treadwear since I've only had these tires for a little over 1300 miles. The price was right at $44 ea from Tirerack.

I also have a pair of Dunlop SP 60 on my 240. No complaints.

Same here! I tried the goodyear tripletred tires...after 15k I had 60% of the tread gone, and a bad shake on the freeway that balancing could not fix. Traded them back for a pro-rated discount on the Michelins I have now, which are great, and have great grip/traction. Great tires!

We recently put a set of "Falcon" tires on our 300D....they are doing well so far (1k or so) and grip well and ride smooth. The price was right, we'll see how they last.

LOL....well, I live in north metro Atlanta, and 2 years ago, got new shoes for the SDL. I went with the Michelin HydroEdge since I do a lot of Interstate driving.....I think that I jinxed Atlanta as we have been in a drought since.

Meanwhile, I've put close to 50K on the tires and they are holding up rather well. My only complaint is that I have a vibration that I cannot find, and I think that it is the tires.

I also have these on my car. Haven't put enough miles on to know how they will last, but after 5k they are not showing significant wear for me. They do grip wet pavement like no tires I've ever owned (as in I can't get them to slide), so they do exactly what I bought them to do -- keep me from sliding this heavy car around on the wet roads we have for 3/4 of the year.

The ride on my car feels mushy, but with only one sample of MB and tires to go by, I don't know whether to blame it on the car, tires or me. If you're considering these, do some searches and see what others think of them first.

still have 50% or more tread... decent low price tire.

I have had great luck with the Pirelli P4 Four Seasons. They hold the road well and wear well.

I recommend Yokohama Avid H4s for a good tire. They ride smooth and quiet on my w123, great traction and hydroplaning resistance. H rated as well, I bought them on sale at discount tire direct.com's 100 dollar off sale, I think I paid $250 for the set.

I previously had a set of Bf Goodrich Traction T/A's on, they were noisier and not as good traction as the Yokos. Decent for the w123 though, and a value price for a long lasting tire.
