Smoking deal on Goodyear P235/75 r15

It's been a while since I've posted, but anyways thought it could help. This was for the pos tracker. I was upsizing from 215/75 r15's to the 235's, and an very frugal.

Hop on the internet, and search around for an AT style that I like. Found many in the $80-$120+ range, but stumble across the goodyear wrangler at walmarts website.
I get the counter idiot to find me one, and after about 20 mins of looking and swearing "the invintory must be off" I finally take a look at it. Made in USA, 50k treadwear warrenty, nice grippy block pattern, sticky compound, full depth sipes (best I can tell), and some side bars also.

Did a little digging, and find out that goodyear discontinued that tread style in the mid 90's, but now makes is just for walmart... Bit wierd, but whatever.

Bought them, carry out ( I refuse to let them touch one of my cars... Ask them on their torque procediure and you should too...)
Be warned, they wont sell you the road hazzard on them carryout, but they're SO cheap who cares? I know how to patch them...

$270 out the door for 4 of them. Mounted and balanced them myself (school auto shop), and they're great. Good traction in show, great cleanout in mud, and very nice ride... A little "squichy" in race car situations, but they're not ment for that. They're a bit louder then a typical passenger tire, but so is my exhaust. I dont mind it, it's not noticable over the radio at all. They also are very loud if you smoke them... They've got lots of traction, hard to do with a geo tracker's 1.6...

Cliff notes are:
I like them, they fit, they were cheap, and they are a USA product...
I wouldnt let them install, I wont let them touch a car of mine... Better option, talk to a high school auto shop teacher, there's allways somebody who wants extra cash. Pay at least $20 for 4 mounted and balanced, buy valve stems if yours are in need of replacement...
I like the whitewall out also.

Just had to do a little write up, I'm just very happy with the tires.
