Luke...question about Kumhos

Any feedback on the new Kumho Ecsta Platinum LX?

I'm shopping for a replacement for my KH11's.

This is what I have on my list of candidates:

Ecsta Platinum
RE960AS PP
Primacy MXV4

Thanks!

pretty nice driving tire if your priorities lean towards ride quality. However, like many lower cost tires Kumhos have been prone to irregular wear on heavier cars. The LX has not been around long enough to develope any historical data so, the jury is still out

I would choose the RE960 out of that crowd

Thanks for the input. Thats what I was thinking. I did have concerns about the lifespan of the RE960s.

go with the michelins, our cars are made for premium tires. You wont be dissapointed.

Khumos are so-so IMHO. . .

I love my Kumho KH11s. They handle great and have tenacious wet and dry grip. They just don't make my size anymore in the KH11.

How is the Bridgestone NOT a premium tire? I have seen in the past that Michelins are good but very expensive and a large premium over regular tires....

I put bridgestones on two of my benzes some years back. They were great at first and thats why I bought the second pair but the first pair soon started humming and the second as well.

I have tried others but I always come back to Michelin.
