215/65 on a W210 (replacing 215/55)
I ran across a great deal on a set of 215/65 R16 Goodyear tires. I'd like to know if I'll run into rubbing problems on a 2000 E320. The stock tires were 215/55 R16.
According to http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html I'd be going from 25.3" to 27" in diameter. That will cause the speedo to be off a little, but I'm not concerned with that. I'd like to know if they will rub. I'm running ET 37 wheels in place of the ET 41 wheels if that helps any. Thanks, Tad

Too tall of a tire, they may fit but I doubt you will like the way it looks enough to justify the savings.

I ended up buying the 205s (factory size for the clk wheels). The 215s will find a home with someone else.
