aluminum "steel wheels"

A few weeks ago I realized the 240D parts car I bought has aluminum wheels that look like the older steel wheels. I believe they are 5.5" wide. Are these pretty common or some what rare?
Thanks

There's a recent thread on the topic. Denver's craigslist has a set at $275 each.

There worth a pretty penny if you can get them.
EDIT: just went and checked, turns out both of my sets ( i have another set from my wrecked 81 benz) of wheels that look exactly like stock, are aluminum I guess im sitting on a goldmine.

Some say they are kind of common, but the general concensus here seems to be they are somewhat of a coveted item, and worth the money in performance gains.etc. I have them on both of my cars, and love them. The 82 came with them, the 80 I had to install them in place of the original Bundts. I always thought the Bundts were too common looking with all the trends of mag wheels, & liked the seemingly "classier" vintage look of the hubcaps, with the light weight of the fake steelies.

I found a set yesterday in great shape, all 5. they are at the S.J. PNP.
I see them once in a while, maybe one good one out of 4. but never 5.

I didn`t take any pictures when I was there of the wheels. It`s 42 mile hike back to where the car is.

they didn`t have any curb rash or dings in them. looked in the trunk and the spare was there. used a magnet to check, and was surprised they were aluminium. they are painted a dark color like most I have seen.

these are on an 84 w123, usually I only see these on a 240.
