What do J and K mean in wheel sizes?
What do J and K mean in wheel sizes? W210 wheels are something like 16 J 7 H2 ET 34. 3/4-ton truck wheels have markings like 16 K 6.5.
I thought I saw somewhere that J describes the tire retention geometry. Does that mean tires off a W210 mount on 3/4-ton truck wheels? I'm only asking conceptually. I have no intention of fitting passenger car tires on a 3/4-ton truck Sixto 87 300D |

I'm interested in learning more about this. Where are you getting those numbers?

The letter refers to the shape of the rim. Rim contours are standardized by the Tire and Rim Association, so that tires will fit.
