Will a 124's rims fit a 123 and vise-versa?

I just bought a beater 123 for a "just incase" car. and Hey... I like the 123's what can I say! It's a cool car. Can't beat the 617 for reliability and it's fun and easy to work on. Even sounds cool!

Anyways, whoever had it before me put old tires off of a Honda Civic on the car. While it works, I'm itching to get those off FAST!!!

So... I've got 4 extra wheels for my w124 300d with brand new tires sitting behind my house. They are 15's. Can I use them on a w123?

I'd like to keep one of the wheels that came on the old 123 as a spare tire for my 124. Will that work?

Now... please reserve judgment with comments on how tacky and ridiculous the w123 car will look with the wrong rims... lol! The 123 is a rusty old beater and I'm driving it as that. I don't need much, just need it to go and I don't really care who laughs I'll laugh at it every time I see it in the driveway.

But just curious if it'll work.
thanks!
Nick

No, the W123 and W124 use wheels with very different offsets.

stock 124 wheels just simply wont bolt up on a 123, theres just not enough clearance. I would venture a guess the 14" 123 wheel wont clear the brake caliper on your 124 either.
