Can I use these wheels/snows on my new MB?

Just traded in my '01 MB S500 with the Sport Package. I kept the 7-spoke/5 bolt alloy wheels with Blizzak WS60 225/60 R16 snow tires. On the inside of the wheel it says: "71/2JX16H2" and also stamped it says "A220 401" Made in Germany.

Can I use these wheels/tires on my new '09 MB CLK350 Cabriolet with the sport package?

I also traded in a 05 BMW X-3 and kept the snows (no wheels): Michelin X-Ice 235/55 R17. Could I use these on the '09 CLK350 wheels (they have 225/45 R17 on front on 245/40 R17 on rears).

Thanks.

sorry to tell you but the answer is no on both ... the 16" wheels will not clear the brakes on the new CLK and the X5 tires are much too tall

I could use the tires if you're nearby.

I'm in Wilton, CT. Anyone nearby interested in the wheel/tire set or the set of tires, feel free to contact me before they go on ebay.
