Introducing the Potenza RE730
Just letting you guys know about the new RE730 which is the replacement for the RE71 which many of you have probably tried in the past.
The RE730 is a very cost effective tire with a rating of 300 AA A. It has a directional tread pattern and should perform very well for you if cost is an issue

How does this new tire stack up vs the S-02 PP, P-Zero Asm, Pilot Sport, and Yoko AVS Sport in wet traction, dry traction, predictability at the limit, etc?

Also, do you have any information on the Kumho street tire I've seen advertised? How does it rate vs the "big boys" mentioned above and also the RE730?

Thanks...Lee

Although a very good value tire for the money, the Potenza 730 will not be able to match the handling and traction of Potenza S-02 Pole Position, Pirelli PZero Assymetrico, and other tires in that class. The latter two tires fit into a catagory we call "maximum performance", or as you called them "the big boys", whereas the Potenza 730 will be closer to what the Potenza RE71 was, a good performance tire value. As for the new Kumho 712's, this will be our entry-level offering. These tires are due to arrive in about 6 weeks, we should have more info when the arrival date gets closer.
