Just Curious, anyone know the logic behind AMG skipping a 16 incher for the "Aero II Monoblock" while making 15, 17, 18 sizes? What's Up with that?

My guess is because it never came on an original mercedes car. All the other sizes did. 15" from the C280 Sport, 17" C36/C43, and 18" E55/SL Sport. Just a guess though...

The AMG Aero is an older style wheel commonly found on W124's and was produced prior to the Aero monoblock II. I believe the Aero Monoblock II surfaced in 1997 on the E420 Sport and C-Class Sport edition. It may be in stock at Tirerack but my guess is that it is probably discountinued. No one else stocks it.
