Does anyone have any suggestions for replacement tires (brand & size) for a 107 chassis SL? The car has the stock 14" MB wheels, and I am most concerned about dry handling and wet-road safety. The car is not used on snowy/icy roads, so I don't need an "all weather" tire.
Any help would be much appreciated! |

For your SL380 I would suggest a Michelin Energy MXV4 tire in the 205/70-14 size. Although, the suggested tire is an all season tire it will perform very well for you.

I'll second Luke's recommendation. In my experience the Michelin Energy MXV4 (in any of its iterations) is the best touring (non performance) tire you can buy by a large margin. If you can afford it, do it.
Hope this helps...Lee |
