Tire size recommendation needed
I bought a set of 14" Bundt rims for my 1980 240D. Wanted to know what's a good size tire to use. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

the 107's use 205/70/14's, the 123's use a 195/70/14/
The wider the tread the more grip you will have. Did you get 6" bundts or 6.5"? the only issue that I could see from running 205's on 6" rims would be the tires looking a little fat, but other then that you shouldnt have any problems. I dont think you can go much wider (tread face) given the constraints of the tires available for 14" rims.

Thanks for the info. I'll check this weekend to see the width of the rims, out of town now.

Check out the link below - it's a great reference guide on wheel fitment and spacing and very easy to understand. Best of luck!
