16x8 ET20 on a W123

I'm sorry, this should be in the Wheels section but no one goes there, and I need an answer ASAP. Just checking to see if I can run 4 wheels on a W123 that are 16x8 ET20. I plan on using 205/55/R16's as well. Thanks!!!

205 is not recommended on an 8" wheel, you will probably need to go to 225s.

Offset for a w123 with 16x8 wheels should be 11 - I wouldn't think 20 would be suitable, but perhaps someone with some "real" experience can help.

update

called discount tire as luke is out of the tire rack until monday. they said they would fit and not be a problem but the problem would come from tires. 225/60's would be perfect for the wheel but would then rub the car. they told me it would be "impossible" to fit a tire on the car that wouldn't cause a problem. FYI.

I ran 205/50r17's on a 8" wheel with no issues. They are rated to a max of 7.5". It's a little stretched, but not that bad.
