Painted my wheels

I painted my wheels. I just cleaned and painted them, I didn't do any real prep. I've done this before about four years ago, they needed it again. I suppose if I did the prep or had them powder coated it might be more lasting, but four years for one hour and $6 isn't too bad! They are a little bright, but I like it.

First pic is with the rear done and the front as it was.

I used Duplacolor wheel paint, they have a black, white and silver color. I used the silver. I didn't paint the lugs, they are only a few years old so they look the same color. I removed the wheels from the car to paint them, just masked them with tape and painted away, no primer or anything. I had already cleaned them a few days ago, so I just wiped them down. Good times.

Looks good! I have a set of bundts on my 240D now that could use a good paint job. Ill have to grab some of that dupicolor wheel paint and try this myself!
