Thumbs up Michelin Primacry 205-65-15

I had my set of tyres changed from the Energy series to the Primacy (Made in France). It was excellent as far as wet traction and road noise is concerned. Zipped through a wet stretch and puddle at 100 mph without a hitch or a skip. And the road noise was so minimal that you could hear the throbbing at the heart of the engine. I don't know how it might sound when its 30% worn.

On the whole, its a great set of tyres.

Check it out:

My brother and I have been using the Energy series since the last 3 years and we find it excellent.

I use the 205-65-15, whereas on his W123 he uses the 195-65-15. What I find most impressive of the Energy series is the fact that the tyres are very durable when properly inflated and aligned. On the W126, it lasted me 18 months. On the W123, it was almost 4 years! Then again, the W126 is a workhorse that runs 5,000 km a month on average, give and take 10% either way.

Do check out the tires catalog in www.michelin.com and see for yourself.

If I ever get to Jakarta, I'd be out in a jiffy. The things we hear in the news do not give me much confidence of going to a place currently volatile and moody.

Its more likely that Richard may be around Kuala Lumpur than I will be in Jakarta and in which I would call him to say "hi".

Kerry,
Thats what I hear He and his family have been evacuated twice in the last two years.
He`s been doing this around the world since getting out of college. Great way to make a living.

I emailed him a few weeks ago with my concerns, he said everything was ok, in fact he was going sailing for the weekend !

Thanks Kerry

Sailing?

That is marvellous. Just hope the pirates don't get at him.

Regards and best wishes.
