CLK wheels

Will these fit my W123? I know the bolt pattern is right but is the offset correct?

need to check offset on 16's closely. I had ET23 on the front and the tie rod ends took off the wheel weights, with stick on wheel weights and a little filing on the tie rod end they were ok, any more then ET23, no way

CLK

They fit, but just barely. I've had them on my TD since the first couple days
I purchased it. The tie rod ends are very close. You cannot use edge balance
weights. Inner stick on only. No problems other than that. I drive in a spirited manner most of the time. These wheels were not my first choice, however, once on, they really got to me. They looked "original" somehow.
Like they could have been an option. Many wheels look really awesome, but
look like custom wheels. These wheels have a classic quality unlike most of the custom wheels I see on old Benzes. They are forged as well. Quite light.
I had major buyer's remorse at first, but now I'd not want anything else.

16J 7.0 et37 rims from the '99/'00 SLK and CLK in various styles fit the w123 with no other issues than very tight tie rod end clearance. This means stick on weights on the inside of the rim. One of the few later rims that fit the w123. Check this-post #43 I just got some today. While that style of rim you have posted a pic on is generally considered an ugly duckling by many, it does grow on you as posted earlier, and it is the lightest rim you can find which means less unsprung pounds. Very strong and very light.

This thread www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=244858 pg 7 post 99 shows STAGER LEE light blue TD with the CLK wheels.

BGKAST black 300SD has the other wheels both look good.

my preferance is the CLK. $175.00 for one? I have seen a whole set for $300 or less. with tires.

good to know about the balancing weights issue on these wheels.

guys, don't know if you've noticed or not (many have), but these cheap clk wheels are the newer version of the original bundt wheels. there were two versions, one which was 13-14lbs each, another which was 17-19lbs each. this has been discussed on other forums. obviously the one to get for the relatively under-powered w123 chassis is the 13-14lb version, in order to get the most bang for your buck. they are lighter than the original bundts by a couple of pounds each, look much nicer in my opinion (i'm not a purist when it comes to this chassis), and agree with the previous poster--they can be found for under $300 with wheels. i found a set with nearly unused 205/55/16 kumhos for $250 on craigslist, and they are now on one of my 190e's. love these wheels. so versatile, and the look really grows on you. the ideal wheel for going fast, on the cheap (or not going as slow, as it pertains to the w123's)

I used to have a different set of CLK AMG wheels on my 300TD. They fit all right. Mine were the five spoke wheels.
