14" bundts with 60 series tires?

I really like the "old school" look of my 450 SL with the chrome bundt wheels.
I would like to stay with the bundt wheels but go with a wider(225 or 235-60-14) tire.
It seems like the only tires available in these sizes now are the BFG T/A white letter style.Any other tire options in the 14 or would I be better running a newer 15 or 16".
I know where there is a set of the 15 hole 15",ET 23 off a 126 I could get pretty reasonable(150-200$ with good tires).I'm just not sure I like them??
IIRC those would be comparable to the stock wheels on a 560SL.
I passed on a set of 15" wire spoke wheels several months back....I'll probably be flamed but I kinda like that 70's look on the 70's car.

My 380SL came to me with 16" BBS wheels. The original Bundts are in the trunk. I am having the same thoughts, but have an almost new set of Michelins in the garage (195/70/14) from a car I junked. I may just go ahead and do the swap this weekend. My 6.9 will get the BBS wheels then.
i really dont like the flat look of stock 124/126 wheels, but that is just my personal opinion.
